"This cream from the makers of the Ojon hair treatment line (which I love),has a heavenly smell of chocolate and a spicy patchouli-like scent. It's very thick and rich. I used it every day as an eye cream and well as on my drier sections of my face like my forehead and cheeks. I also dabbed it under my eyes and forehead. Even better is that the lines on my forehead almost all disappeared!
I have been addicted to this cream ever since I began using it. I also used it on my knees, elbows, feet - anywhere that needed help. Please note: If you are allergic to nuts you may experience breakouts with this cream.
I loved that it made my skin look and feel firmer and the fine lines are gone. It also helped my make-up stay in place all day without a multiple touch ups – including my eye shadow.
As a body cream it was amazing to me. It is non-sticky, non-slippery and resulted in my skin having a beautiful glowing softness. My seasonal dry patches on my legs have disappeared since using this cream. It is definitely worth every penny.
It says it is rejuvenating, and I really did see the results. Sometimes I found that I was able to skip a day or two using it on my body and it was still moisturized! This is a must have product for me now.
Note: This also make an amazing hand cream and hair styling cream (I have thick, very curly hair that is dry); it left a gentle cocoa scent which I love." M.B.

"This cream is WONDERFUL! I love everything about it- How it feels on my face, how my face looks wearing it, everything. I actually dislike floral stuff and was expecting to hate the smell, but I love it too, it's more of a soft cinnamon scent than a strong Rose smell. This cream also contains the added benefits of wild rose oil and phytic acid to lighten dark spots and even overall skin tone, which I really noticed about a week into using it. It has a rich, yet light/softly whipped texture that just melts into the skin, leaving a velvety (not sticky) feel.
This cream made the perfect introduction for me to the rest of the Korres line! I love this cream and have been getting comments on how good my skin looks for weeks. My skin usually has dry patches by the end of the day, but not with this cream. It really does work 24 hours! Suggestions to Korres – add some higher SPF and create a version not in a glass jar for travel! "Another wonderful product from Korres. This has a great, thick texture, and an absolutely divine scent. It's just a very pretty tropical island kind of smell (coconut/orange/kiwi to me) that dries down to a faintly powdery smell. Very moisturizing, but again, the main attraction for me is the fragrance. (It does not interfere with perfume). The texture is very buttery and leaves your skin feeling like silk. It's not greasy either. My hands just feel and look so much better after using this.
This is the only product that heals my cracked heals and knuckles over night when I'm going through a really dry phase! If you have been searching for a cream that truly moisturizes, you have to try this. It is so rich that you only need to use a very little amount." G.T.

“What a throwback to old world beauty and glamour this is! The first thing that struck me was that this cream was in a tall sturdy jar (plastic not glass) with the lovely gold lettering. I found this thick rich cream perfect for my very dry skin but not too greasy to use during the day. This also made a nice hand cream and foot cream for my dry skin. It is significantly perfumed (with natural, not synthetic fragrance) like most French lines (floral/fresh mix) and decadent in price, but oh what a lovely way to keep skin soft and supple!
Because of the packaging this is best for leaving on a vanity or larger open space in your bathroom. It really made me feel glamorous and decadent when using it after my shower. As for the performance I was very impressed. I didn’t get any of my usual dry patches when using this. The cream is very concentrated and silky so it spreads easily and a little goes a long way. This is a new winter time "must have" for my body skin care routine.” T.D.

“I’m very happy with this cream. I used it morning and night this winter and it has kept my skin soft and radiant looking. My skin hasn’t been dry this winter since using it and I can definitely notice an improvement in my overall complexion. The texture and scent (very green – like pine trees) are very pleasant and the presentation elegant yet practical. It is pleasant to use and delivers good results for the price. With this cream, my skin felt instantly comforted and refreshed. It's more like smooth custard when scooped out of the jar, but once it hits my skin, it sinks in as quickly as a lotion would. My skin feels slightly tingly afterwards and almost matte. looking matte after applying moisturizer! The product is packaged in a large jar and comes with a small spatula (so you don't have to plunge your fingers into the pot) -- I used one good sized scoop per application. "Since I'm an admitted packaging junkie, I was very intrigued with this line from the moment I saw the huge blue dotted arrow on the top of the sleek white jar (for this skin care line blue arrows are for core skin care products and green arrows are for specialty products, which I love and makes products really easy to find on the bathroom countertop too!).
The mask is enclosed in a safety seal that I like to see on products to preserve freshness. The fragrance of this mask was the first point of difference. I have simply never smelled anything quite like it. It is a mix of berries and grape but not a sweet, cloying artificial reinterpretation of them. The mask contains many natural elements which are responsible for the fragrance, such as actual blueberries, wild pansies, oats and grapes along with vitamin E. It's a nice blueberry smoothie shade of blue too! The texture is light and creamy and felt so soothing on my skin. I also noticed that after applying a fresh layer of the mask, my skin had a slightly metallic, shimmery sheen to it. It's a soft drying mask, so after the 30 min (when I had it) the mask just sunk right into my skin, giving me super hydration and after rinsing the remaining product, my skin had an amazing glow! I found myself looking forward to using this mask every week (even if I could only spare 10 min with it). This is one of the best face mask products on the market today, hands down. Tester: Multi-Ethnic (French/Nigerian), late 30's with dry skin that is sometimes sensitive.
"I have a continual battle with my skin which is both dry and sensitive all year round and I am constantly looking for my "one and only" moisturizer. Now I have found it. Using the La Mer Crème, my skin no longer feels tight or itchy by the afternoon and people in my office have ALL started to notice the difference in my complexion. Yes, this cream definitely lives up to its name! My skin tone has completely evened out, and I have an amazing natural healthy looking glow. The longer I used it the more evident the glow was in my skin and it diminished all the fine lines. I simply looked younger and fresher using it. Another plus: you can also use it as an eye cream and it has done wonders for my bags and puffiness.
It IS important to emulsify the cream before you put it on! I found that more of the product spread across my face when I warmed the product between my fingers and then patted/pressed it into my skin for a few minutes (as directed). Of course, the cream still works if you skip this step, but I did find better results and used less of the product when warming it first. At the end of the day, each one of us must decide what great skin is worth to us. If you take 365 days a year, and buy only 2 jars over that year (a jar used properly will six months, and if you have no other skin problems you will not need to buy any additional skin treatments/moisturizers), your total cost for skin you can be completely justified…It's that simple! The cream IS a splurge, but I already know that I won't go back to anything else." V.B.

My own father, who obviously has seen me growing up pretty much every day and even now that we live in different cities, I still see pretty frequently, met me for lunch one day recently after I had been using this crème for about a month, and just as we parted he stared at me and said "Look how beautiful your skin looks!" Well, I don't know about you but when a dad says something like that it's got me sold!

Tester: African-American with very dry body skin and frequent cracked skin on soles of feet.
"I've been reading about this product for years in beauty magazines and I'm happy to report that the hype is real. I LOVE this cream! I am always running around barefoot and in sandals or flip flops so my feet get very dry. I do use pumice stones on them regularly also, but the dry skin always returns. But not anymore with this product. The "cream" is more of a Vaseline-type of consistency and smells like a coconut cocktail! Because it's on the greasy side, you do need to wear socks with it to get the best overnight moisturizing effect. The best thing to do if you don't want to use it at night put a pea size amount on each foot rub in and go up your leg to cure dry legs. Since I have started using this product my skin has been the best it's EVER been (after years of using bath and body works loaded with petroleum lotions and drug store lotions with petroleum and petrolatum in them). My feet not only feel but LOOK wonderful after using this." J.K.

"I must admit that the idea of trying this "body conditioner" seemed really luxurious from the start. Olay has created this product to use on the body after washing - just like you use conditioner on your hair after shampooing. It's very easy to use and comes in a squeeze tube.
The conditioning agents are actually activated WITH the hot water and it smells so nice and fresh! After you apply the lotion as you normally would while still in the shower, you rinse it off. There's very little need to reapply any lotion during the day, which really impressed me. I used the Extra-Dry version and I have to say that I really like the idea of this product. I can't wait until it's out formally in the drug stores!" -R.B.

Aveeno is one of the brands I always notice in the store, but had not gotten around to trying before. Most hand creams make my hands feel great for a few minutes and then either they are dry again or it feels like I have a film on them. However, this hand cream really did absorb into my skin more easily, last longer and really hydrate my skin. It doesn't have fragrance, isn't oily or sticky, and worked like a charm. It's also a great price. After frequent use I found that it made my hands very soft and smooth. It’s the perfect hand cream for daytime use. I wash my hands a lot during the day, and while I did reapply a few times, overall, I think this does a nice job standing up to at least a few hand washings. Tip: If you mix it with a pea-sized amount of Vaseline at night this will keep the moisture in even more and you will wake up with super soft and supple hands!” E.V. The fragrance is different than other hand creams-intensive, and slightly marine like, but I really like it-I like to smell my hands after some time and feel the cream and this fragrance stays for long. In the wintertime my hands can get so cracked they sometimes bleed. This cream soaked in instantly and made my hands VERY soft. The texture is heavy, but completely non-oily. "I'm always searching for a product to moisturize my cuticles, which get so dry and cracked. This cream from AHAVA is as close to perfection as I've seen. It's a nice slim tube and the cream itself is very concentrated (so putting just a pin sized amount on each nail bed is enough). The cream sinks in immediately, leaves the skin around the nail nicely hydrated, and leaves a nice sheen on a clear nail. I used this on extra cold/dry days about 2x day and after just a week saw a huge improvement in my overall nail and cuticle appearance after about a week. The cream also contains the legendary Dead Sea minerals from Israel which AHAVA is famous for. "This is sooo nice! It comes in a bottle and is actually a lotion, not a cream - but it is fairly thick and very moisturizing. It spreads easily and sinks in pretty quickly too. It left my skin feeling quite soft, hydrated and smooth. I'd only recommend this if you've got dry skin-otherwise, it might be too greasy. I love the packaging as well. Very cute. This would make a great shower gift along with some of their other products for a friend or family member! The other great plus is the fragrance which is a warm vanilly maple reminiscent of fresh pancakes smothered in syrup YUMMM! - I've already used a lot. For a dessert scent, this is not too cloying or sweet - I find the scent of Cake Beauty products to be really nice without being overwhelming." F.O.
